Leprechaun Strike

WHAT A STRIKE! OH MY, LEPRECHAUN O’GRADY DID IT AGAIN! We spent the morning looking for clues to try and determine how O’Grady beat our traps. He tripped every single trap and left such a mess!

Do you have an idea for a leprechaun trap that could catch this little guy? Let us know and post a comment!

Catching a Leprechaun

As most of us know, Mrs. Franz is Irish and every year Leprechaun O’Grady visits our classroom. Or should we say, sneaks into our classroom after school AND for the fun of it, turns it upside down! So this year we made Leprechaun traps to try to capture clever O’Grady! We think our traps are clever and unique! Stay tuned to see what happens….

Spaghetti Dinner

Wasn’t the Spaghetti Dinner Night a great time? We captured pictures of what goes on behind the scenes. Look how hard everyone worked! We saw cooks, bakers, and of course, shoppers! :>) Thank you  PTSA and to all the super helpers that made Spaghetti Dinner Night special!

Mr Baima Rocks!

What a time we had with Mr. Baima! He taught us about mining, the composition of rocks and gems, then shared his awesome rock collection with us! At the end of his presentation, Mr. Baima let us choose three rocks to keep! He even identified the minerals for us! Our class agrees that, Mr. Baima ROCKS!

What were the three types of rock formations?

History Fair

Our History Fair was such a success! Look at the beautiful Explorer and Mission Projects! We learned about World Explorers such as, Sir Frances Drake and Columbus. We also researched Spanish missions in California and we will visit San Luis Rey mission, the “King of all Missions!”
