If you had your own canvas and paints, what would you love to paint?
We are learning how to survey people, collect and display data on a graph. These skills are very important to mathematicians and scientists.
What was the outcome of your survey question?
It is always fun to visit our school library! This week we learned about where everything is in our library and how it is organized. We learned how to find our lexile by accessing the Dot Chart, we learned about the Dewey Decimal System and how to locate a book.
Do you know the library rules?
Friday, we had the pleasure of experiencing live music and play homemade musical instruments. It was an event to remember! We clapped out rhythms, sang out loud and played along with the band.
What made your experience memorable?
Ah, recess! We are so lucky in Ramona to have so many sunny days to play and be with our friends outdoors.
What is the best part about recess?
Flashlight Friday is a wonderful way to engage kids into reading their favorite books. I like to read mysteries with my flashlight, it helps to create suspense and excitement while I read each page of Nancy Drew.
Have you ever read a mystery book?
Writers’ Workshop is so much fun! During Writers’ Workshop, we become REAL writers that use the writing process and illustrate our work afterwards. Remember too, writers read a lot of books and use colorful language to help their readers picture the story in their imagination.
